FOR DIGNITY"
USCPRS Chairman Antonio Monroig,
Executive Director Tom England and other members
participated in the "March for Dignity" that took place on
September 23, 2005, at the World War II Memorial on the Mall
and on Capitol Hill, meeting with U.S. Congressmen.

USCPRS was pleased to support
the non-partisan group whose purpose was to urge Congress to
support Puerto Rico's self-determination. Resident
Commissioner Luis Fortuņo, conference organizers Dr. Antonio
Longo, Carlos Font and Carlos Padilla, and Jose Luis
Fernandez addressed the participants calling for immediate
Congressional action.
